About Brownsburg

Directions

We are located in Northern Rockbridge County, about 18 miles north of Lexington, and just 27 miles south of Staunton. (It was our location between these two towns that made us a stagecoach stop in the 18th and 19th Centuries.)

Directions:

From Lexington: For the scenic drive, take route 11 North out of Lexington, go left on Rt. 39, then right on Rt. 252, Brownsburg Turnpike.. Or, take Interstate: 81 North, to the Fairfield Exit. (Exit 200), go Left on Rt. 724 – Sterrett Road, left on Rt. 252 or the Brownsburg Turnpike

From Staunton: For the scenic drive, take route 252 South (the Brownsburg Turnpike) from Staunton, follow until you reach Brownsburg. take Interstate 81 South, to the Fairfield Exit (Exit 200), go right on Rt. 724 – Sterrett Road, left on Rt. 252 or the Brownsburg Turnpike,

The Wilbourn House Orchard is currently open to the public on the first Saturday of each month from 10am to 4pm,

or during special events.  Please contact us to arrange a private showing.

    We are delighted to be a new member of the North Rockbridge Trail, and will be participating in three all day events in 2024.
